1. What a deposit is

Some dealers on CarPulse let you reserve a car by paying a deposit online. The amount and the reservation period are set by the dealer and shown before you pay. Deposits are charged in euros by card through Stripe.

2. Who holds the money

CarPulse collects the deposit on the dealer's behalf and holds it until the reservation ends. The deposit is part of the price of the car, not a fee to CarPulse.

3. The reservation

When the payment is confirmed, the car is reserved for you for the period shown (from 1 hour up to 7 days; 48 hours if the dealer has not chosen another period). The dealer is told and contacts you to arrange viewing and purchase. If someone else completed a deposit on the same car a moment earlier, your payment is not accepted and you are refunded in full automatically.

4. Refunds

You are refunded in full, automatically, if the reservation period ends without the sale being completed, unless the dealer has already marked the car as sold to you. The dealer can refund you fully or partly at any time, for example if the car is no longer available or you agree not to proceed. If you change your mind, contact the dealer first; you can also write to support@carpulse.it. Your rights under consumer law are not affected. Refunds go back to the card you paid with, usually within 5 to 10 business days.

5. When you buy the car

When the dealer marks the car as sold to you, the deposit counts towards the price. CarPulse pays the deposit out to the dealer by bank transfer after the sale.

6. Problems

If a dealer does not respond, refuses a refund you believe is due, or the car is not as described, write to support@carpulse.it or call +355696348280. CarPulse can freeze the payout to the dealer while we look into it.
