Seller Agreement

This document is available in English, Albanian and Italian. You are reading the English version.

Last updated: 1 October 2026 (version 2026-10-01)

1. Scope and acceptance

This Agreement applies to every private person or business ("Seller") that publishes a vehicle on CarPulse. It adds to the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy. You accept it by ticking the box when you first publish; we record the version and the date you accepted.

2. Who can sell

Sellers must be at least 18 years old. Dealers register a dealer account with the business name, address, tax number (NIPT or VAT number) and a contact person. We may ask for documents at any time. The "verified" badge is shown only after CarPulse has checked the dealer. Some dealer pages are created by CarPulse from stock the dealer publishes publicly. These pages are marked as not yet claimed until the dealer claims them; buyers contact those dealers by phone or WhatsApp, not by CarPulse chat.

3. Accurate listings

Describe each vehicle truthfully and completely: make, model, year, mileage, accidents, modifications and known defects. Photos must show the actual vehicle, not stock images. The price must be the real asking price in euros. We remove misleading listings.

4. VIN and duplicates

The VIN (chassis number) is optional, but if you give one it must be the real VIN of that vehicle. A listing with a VIN gets more trust from buyers. One vehicle = one active listing. Do not publish the same vehicle twice, under another account or with a different price. We remove duplicates and keep the most recent one; repeated duplicates can lead to suspension.

5. Prohibited listings

Stolen vehicles or vehicles without clear title; a fake VIN; undisclosed rebuilt or salvage history; prices meant to deceive; vehicles that are not actually for sale; anything that breaks the Terms of Service.

6. Plans and fees

Private sellers: the Free plan allows up to 2 active listings, each active for 90 days, in the markets where it is offered. Premium, the €2 trial and boosts are optional and priced on the Pricing page. Dealers: monthly dealer plans include a number of listings and Premium listings; extra listings and extra Premium listings are billed per month at the prices on the Pricing page. CarPulse does not take a commission on the sale and is not involved in the payment between buyer and seller (except dealer deposits, see the Deposit terms).

7. Dealing with buyers

Answer buyers promptly and politely. Harassment, spam, discrimination and pressure tactics lead to suspension.

8. Test drives and inspections

You are responsible for organising test drives in line with insurance and traffic law. We recommend meeting in safe public places and allowing an independent inspection when the buyer asks.

9. Disputes between buyers and sellers

Buyers and sellers settle disputes directly. CarPulse may help or provide relevant records, but is not responsible for the outcome of a sale.

10. Suspension

We may suspend or close a Seller account that breaches this Agreement, receives repeated justified complaints, or fails verification. Where appropriate we tell you the reason first and give you a chance to fix it.

11. Your responsibility

You are responsible for the legality, condition and accuracy of your listings and for consumer, tax and vehicle law. You indemnify CarPulse against claims arising from your listings or sales.

12. Data processing for dealers (Dealer Platform)

When a dealer uses the Dealer Platform to manage its leads, customers, test drives, deposits and staff, the dealer is the controller and CarPulse processes that personal data as processor (Art. 28 GDPR). CarPulse: processes the data only on the dealer's documented instructions, which are given by using the platform; keeps it confidential and limits access to authorised staff; applies appropriate security measures; uses the sub-processors listed in the Privacy Policy (section 6) and tells dealers before adding new ones; helps the dealer answer data-subject requests and meet its security and breach-notification duties; reports a personal-data breach without undue delay; deletes or returns the data when the dealer closes its account, unless the law requires us to keep it; and provides the information needed to show compliance.

13. Changes

We tell you about material changes through the Service or by email at least 14 days in advance, and ask you to accept the new version when you next publish.
